![]() So good, and helps explain away any of the plotholes this episode might have. This ending has gotta be up there among some of the best stuff that Adventure Time's done. Have Fionna make this big speech about girl empowerment, yeah yeah, but then to keep it from being ridiculously preachy suddenly Ice King from outta left field. If people were upset by it they have no taste man. Now the ending scene was fucking PHENOMENAL, man that was so good. That part where she bashed Ice Queen in the brain with that giant chunk of ice was awesome and really made me like Fionna, glad they didn't tone down her awesomeness just because she's a lady. The entire ending scene was really cool, I loved the fight between Fionna and Ice Queen. The jokes and all that junk were up to par, and got particularly racy with that implied rape part, but it wasn't super extreme (unlike some other episodes in the show(BREEZY)). This episode was like a microcosm of all the different things that happen in this show, and I thought it was done pretty darn well. You got Fionna crushing on Gumball, them fighting Ice Queen, going on a short little adventure to some new locales, get a decent feel for the relationship between Fionna and Cake, a cute song, and then a twist ending out of nowhere (even before the ACTUAL twist ending). I feel like Sugar and Muto really wanted to utilize this runtime to its full potential, so they filled the episode with scenes reminiscent of scenes from Finn and Jake's version but with their own little genderbent spin on them. All the F/C characters are super pleasant to enjoy in this thing.Īnd I think the plot is surprisingly tightly written in this episode. Gotta say, Fionna's voice actor is soooo awkward to listen to and pales in comparison to Finn's wonderful VA, but everyone else is on point. Ice Queen is also real great, my favorite F/C character, I like how she's Ice King's villain sue self insert. I especially like how sisterly Cake is compared to Jake's usual style of brodude-ness. The characters are all different enough to be unique but still similar to their regular versions so that they're not just an entirely new person, and they're all pretty fun. The scenery and the way the door lights up is so nice. I just love that Finn, Jake, PB, Marceline, BMO, and Shelby are all there and there's character devopment with them. This episode is one of the first hints of their relationship and it nods that they were a thing in the past. This episode is really nostalgic for me and I love every single bit of it. It does work in Word which is a plus if that is what students are used to using. MS Word template: This template is a little harder to use and doesn’t look quite as good as the others, but it is another option. This is a three page template giving students quite a bit of creative license in a non-web based platform. Adding pictures and status text is quite easy without creating a mess of the page. PowerPoint template: This page template opens in PowerPoint, but functions surprisingly as a Facebook page. That having been said, it is still worth a try because it is so much fun.
